Bordeaux x Ferro x De Niro

Le Formidable made his debut at the 2019 KWPN Stallion Licensing where he was crowned Champion, impressing the entire audience with his presence and incredible paces, becoming the immediate favourite. He is known for his elegance, powerful hindleg, and flexibility even at his young age he is showing great promise under saddle, "Lots of self-carriage, impulsion, flexibility and a fantastic hind leg". His first crop of foals are now showing up at auctions and are proving to be striking, elegant offspring whcih are catching the eye of many. 


Bordeaux was the winner of the KWPN licensing in 2009, then won the stallion performance test in Ermelo. In 2012, he placed fourth with Eva Möller in the final of the World Championships for six-year old dressage horses in Verden. In winter 2012 & 2013 Bordeaux qualified with victories in the KWPN stallion series. Under Möller Bordeaux was trained to developing grand prix level and represented Norway at the 2017 European Championship under Isabel Freese-Bache.


Le Formidable's damline consists of the most outstanding and influential bloodlines a stallion could hold, his dam Vienna holds an Elite status and is the dam of licensed stallion Four Legends KS and multiple Elite mares. Damsire Ferro has offspring which speak for themselves, more than 40 licensed sons, with names such as Metall, Negro, and Rousseau. His grand-sons and grand-daughters are currently at the very top of the sport across the globe; Valegro (by Negro) and Uthopia (by Metall) were part of the London 2012 Olympic gold-medall-winning team, with Valegro's success in sport being unparalleled.
